Project Description

This is a part-time position.

Financial Duties: 

Full charge bookkeeper for all bank and investment accounts, includes:

All accounts receivable and accounts payable

Entering, tracking, and invoicing all pledges into QuickBooks

Send invoices quarterly

Balancing monthly checkbooks - 5 accounts

Tracking all Foundations investments monthly on a spreadsheet and enter into Quickbooks

Provide data entry for QuickBooks and take all deposits to the bank

Prepare monthly financial statements for review by the Finance Committee and the Board and be the main point of contact for the Treasurer of the Board

Assist in the preparation of the Annual budget

Assist with preparation of the annual report, includes:

Running reports from DonorPerfect of all donations

Organizing the donations into the format for the Report

Putting the Financial Statement into the format for the Annual Report

Coordinate our annual audit and 990 tax returns with outside accounting firm, includes:

Finalizing all accounting for the year (Journal entries, depreciation schedules)

Preparing all requested information for the auditors: 5+ spreadsheets

Pulling requested check copies from deposits and payables for auditors

Overseeing the audit process with the auditors in the office- usually for a week

990: Pulling information from Quickbooks and Audited Financials and filling out a detailed questionnaire 

Maintain filing system for all A/P and deposits

Prepare and mail annual 1099’s for independent contractors

HR Duties: 

Manage HR files

Manage all passwords

Track PTO

This Project is seeking consultants.
